

Midwest Wind Finance, LLC (MWF), a known and well-respected company in national wind power financing is adding to its team. MWF, based in Minneapolis, is an entrepreneurial firm whose mission is to work with developers and landowners across North America to provide financing for wind projects.
We are seeking individuals energized by the opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment in the renewable energy field. Ideal candidates will possess exceptional communication skills and a flexible, upbeat attitude.
Project Manager
Responsibilities include:
* Working with our Manager of Legal Affairs/Project Development to coordinate information and deadlines among
all parties critical to the completion of our community wind projects. Parties could include project owners, financial partners, turbine manufacturers, construction contractors, operations and maintenance providers, and electrical engineers.
* Working closely with our wind project customers to assist them with the development process, verifying that all of the steps are completed and the projects are ready for financing.
* Establishing systems to manage an increasing volume of projects
Requirements include a 4-year degree and computer literacy with Microsoft Office products. Project management, paralegal, utility experience or renewable energy development is a plus. Candidates must have a high degree of organization and prioritization and multi-tasking skill.
Office Manager/Bookkeeper
Responsibilities include:
* Providing office management and critical clerical support for a small, entrepreneurial office
* Completing all accounting functions through financial statements; including A/P, A/R, general ledger accounting and payroll
* Utilizing Peachtree software to record all financial transactions
* Managing day-to-day operations
* Being a team player
Requirements include a 4-year degree or equivalent work experience and excellent accounting, clerical, and computer skills. Accounting software experience required, Peachtree preferred. Candidates must have exceptional communication skills, resourcefulness, a high degree of organization and prioritization, ability to anticipate needs, multi-tasking skill, an outgoing personality, and an orientation to work in an entrepreneurial environment where change and flexibility are required.
Account Executive
Responsibilities include:
* Prospecting for new wind project opportunities, leading to contractual relationships
* Building initial relationships with developers
* Researching and contacting renewable energy companies
* Attending national trade shows, conferences and other events to further the positive reputation of Midwest Wind
The ideal candidate will have successful sales experience. Wind energy and financial experience are a plus, but not required if the candidate has demonstrated the ability to master new and multi-faceted projects. Candidates must have the ability to be a positive ambassador for Midwest Wind.
